A lovely coastal escape
My stay in the King Room was delightful! The view of the sea, although partially blocked, added a lovely ambiance. The staff, especially Tracy in the bar, were incredibly friendly and helpful, making me feel right at home. The location is terrific, centrally located with easy access to shops and the beach. Parking was a breeze and free, which is always a plus!
The room was quite chilly on arrival, and the heating took a while to adjust. The bed's castors made it wobbly when turning, which was a bit uncomfortable. the noise from the restaurant below during peak hours can be quite disruptive, especially if you're looking for an early night. Just be prepared for a fair number of stairs to reach the accommodations.

The King Room offered a comfy bed and ample amenities like a fridge and kettle, making it a cozy spot to unwind after a long day. The sea view from the windows added a lovely touch to our stay.
Unfortunately, the experience was marred by cleanliness issues. we found toe nail clippings and dust in the bathroom, and the jets in the bath expelled dirt, which was a letdown. Noise was also a problem, especially from the bar below, which was pretty distracting when returning to the room at midnight. The bathroom extractor fan was excessively noisy when it was windy, and the TV placement wasn’t the best for comfortable viewing.

Bathroom mirror too low for anyone over 1.5m!!! Mis-set heating controls with radiators hot at night but cold by morning!!! Shoddy bathroom sealant and unusable light fixtures fall short of expectations!!!

Lovely room with ample amenities like a fridge and full-size kettle, but the TV placement was awkward, making it difficult to watch from bed. While we enjoyed the quirky decor, the strong smell from the restaurant below sometimes intruded into our space.

The Deluxe Room was super comfy with loads of great facilities like a fridge and a full-size kettle. I loved the cozy vibe, especially with the strong winds outside. Self check-in was a breeze too, making everything smooth. Just a heads up, it can get a bit noisy when the bar is open but quiets down nicely after. No staff seen during my stay, but didn't need any help. a solid stay!

Had a great time with friends here! The place was clean and comfy. It had easy access to local shops and bars. We loved exploring the nearby beach and visiting the Stadium of Light for a match. It's perfect if you plan to stay out late, just remember that things wind down by 11 pm.
The only drawback was the noisy extractor fan in the bathroom which got a bit annoying when it was windy. But it didn’t stop us from enjoying our stay.

Breathtaking Views and Comfortable Stay!
Enjoyed a relaxing night in the King Room with Sea View! The room's decor was charming, and the views from the large windows were stunning. Be sure to bring an eyemask if you're sensitive to light. Free parking made our getaway even easier!
